Satellite 17?0, R20250, reported scree's dull, dark screen, broken LCD left bracket, LCD loose caused one backlight wire to break, dismantled LCD backlight assy, resoldered wire back to tip of tube(note when testing, tube's not on untill data cable's connected back to LCD!!!), replaced LCD bracket, also power switch & power strip assy.

Satellite 1730, R20256, LCD lef hand side dim, dismantled LCD, resoldered backlight tube, LCD fine, done.


ASUS widescreen LCD Samsung LTN154P1-L02,AS 15.4" WSXGA+'ZERO',NF1P550234LD0009, tube 340mmx2mmOD, tube failed, ordered the tube, replaced tube, cut both ends, extremely difficult to put it back together, about 5 hrs and one broken tube later, done.

Acer TravelMate C110TCi Tablet LXT270E01832300332M000, power socket broken, but won't work with the docking station DC source, can be fixed by jumping the SMB1040CT diode input pins. Socket hard to find.


PowerBook G4 model no. M8407 s/n 0510, can't load OSx, the OS disk is deffective, CD drive reads a Linux live CD fine.


Compaq N610cP200X430DC250, s/n 7E37KT8ZH01G, no description, only "Screen Cracked" on one label, LCD panel is not the original one, will need the origianl type to work.


Toshiba TE2300, Model: PT230A-0048Z, s/n 73033858S, P/W removal, machine was dismantled before as a lot of screws were missing, fan connector nearly torn off the mobo when first opened up, laptop fails to work after putting it back together, fault caused by power PCB connector's connections broken when it was taken off the mobo? fixed the fan connection, 2 hrs spent on tracking the broken connection but no luck.


NEC Packard Bell EasyNote M5-262DW, Model MIT-GHA20, s/n 286500380129, screen dark, but image is there, dismantled LCD panel, tested backlight tube and inverter input(15, 5, 2.8)fine, faulty inverter, replaced and going fine.

Toshiba TE2000 PT200A-0188V s/n 22016234V, won't start, dc supply showed started then current dropped off, found bad connections on mainboard, resoldered & fixed, laptop works fine.


Toshiba Satellite M35X-S349, p/n PSA72U-00W00XB, s/n Y4483143K, white screen sometimes. Advice from previous service-faulty LCD scree board? Dismantled laptop, only to find it's integrated on the mainboard(mouse pad cable socket on mainboard and one cable track were damaged last time when it's serviced, causing laptop failed to work when puting the laptop back), "white screen" happened twice, the first time it's fixed by pushing Fn+F5, second time it's right after coming out from standby, also it's never happened when running BurnInTest so it's not the mainboard's fault, just the connection between mainboard/LCD. Applied contact enhancer to the socket/data plug, laptop tested for 3 days, no fault found.


Compaq N1020V PP2150N s/n 9X33LDLZC3VO, not picking up hdd, found two fault, another one is won't boot CD if the battery's removed screen went blank. Dismantled laptop reseated HDD connector assy, checked CD connection's fine, can't fix the second fault, HDD & CD go fine when battery is there.


Acer TravelMate 213TXV, Model 2008, s/n 9140R01X4314800C0FK000, repaired broken power socket, FDD no go, removed foreign object in it, still not reading. HDD has no OS, CD booting fine.

Toshiba Satellite SA60-672, Model PSA60E-02Z02P7Y, I74140060QSSA6002Z02P7YD, xp shutdown sometimes, cleaned CPU fan, fixed.


Compaq Presario 900 Series PP2140, P921APA140X420VC12E 1V2CKSBZ430L, faint image. Another inverter, still the same, new tube, same. Image brightness changed as screen opene/closed, repaired broken inverter cable, lcd working fine.


LCD screen Philips model: 15L5082Q/22C, s/n TY009948067614, buzzing. Buzzing & flickering when turned on, traced fault to 2 x capacitors, replaced one 150uf/400V and one 1800uf/25V (with a 2200uf/25V). Going fine.


E500 Battery 6N1204J3JW6967, replaced cells and reprogrammed 24C01 after first cycle being too short.


Sony Z505GATH, modelPCG-532D, 28314170 7600697. No go, no light at all, no 3.3 to the power switch. Traced fault to dry joints on LT1628 & AD3421 ICs, resoldered the pins. Laptop going fine, vibration tested fine.


IBM T21 1S2648EDA99VR184, blank screen, replaced LCD ribon cable. Put contact enhancer in to connectors both ends.


Prestigio P4 2.66GHz, model N243S8 PZXN243S933200108. Not turning on, no current at all. Found CPU power circuit 6 x IRF7811 short circuit, replaced the FETs, still no go but drawing 200mA current, no 3.3 & 5V, checked the power section, replaced faulty resistor 10ohm to the Max1632 +V rail, laptop started up but failed to load XP, shutdown. Removed heat transfer pad that was added to the heatsink, used silicone paste only. Laptop running > 6 hrs fine.


IBM T23 2647-8NA 99-F3L3P(no LCD panel) and 2647-8NA 99-F3L3M, P/W removal.


vpr Matrix, series 110, Q02N30185A1771N/SVID03808299FF, not turning on at all. dismantled and found mainboard fine, turned on with external monitor but failed when LCD connected, replaced the LCD assy, going but shutdown sometimes, added contact enhancer to CPU socket and put silicone on CPU heatsink. laptop works fine.


Toshiba TE2100 Model PT210A-006P9 72015595V, dark screen & freez up sometimes. LCD problem was traced to cable in laptop, 5v to inverter bad connection, attached a wire socket to socket, screen fixed. Second fault CPU overheating, redo cpu heatsink, still not stable. It's display IC overheating, not repairable by us.


Compaq 5017 LCD display, SVID03811230AE, turned on fine for a while then backlight disappeared, found inverter switch off after a few mins, connected a resistor to control IC to fix it. Backlight on all the time.


HP 1530 LCD display, model PE1236 s/n CNK3441203, backlights no go, fix inverter's fault.


IBM T22 1S26478EA99RVHTL, white screen, traced fault to a broken resistor on mainboard, replaced it and LCD's fine.

NEC Packard Bell Easynote F5287 296613370122%, no power, loose power socket, resolder & glue socket.


NEC VERSA APTITUDE, s/n 560, was told dead battery, check battery fine, repair charger circuit. Laptop charging and battery going fine.

Compaq Presario 1500 Series PP2140, P1525USP240P540WC51E, s/n 9X2AKQFZBlEJ, SVID0178677D4B, new battery not charging. Fixed DC charger board, battery charging but only to 16%, recalibrated battery,will go up 100% but won't last long. Finally found battery is a series CM2081 for CM2080 series laptops!


Dell Latitude C640, J63W7lS, P4 2GHz, not turning on, found standby linear regulator overheated/overloaded, fault caused by a P/FET shorted G/S pins. Replaced the FET, laptop going fine. Upgraded bios to A10


Dell Latitude C640, CSYT6lS, P4 1.8GHz, corrupted BIOS chip, used A08/10... copying bios from another C640, coming up BIOS and keyboard controller ROM versions mismatch and won't go further. As the original bios version is not known, tried a few times before it worked. Upgraded bios to A10.

Compaq EVO N610C, PP2040, 470050-421/CNU3470GNC, a few problems with battery and power supply including turning off when the AC adapter plugged in after starting up with the battery, tested working fine with bench top supply and 18.5V 2.7A adapter it specifies.

Thinkpad T22 P3900, 1S26478EA99M8AV3, not fire up sometimes, found it posted to RAM and stoped, checked RAM OK, put it in the other slot. Works fine. HDD loading XP fine.


Thinkpad T23, 1S26472TA99ZP9T6, didn't post, tried RAM in other slot, no go, later found RAM faulty? works with a PC133 RAM stick. Loaded Win thru CD OK.


Compaq N1015VA153X430VC250, 470046-545, 1V2BKSBZX13N, Dark screen, inverter confirmed working, checked voltage fine first then missing 18.5V, found cable wires broken, OK once repaired.


Dell C640 tag 5X2J7lS, P4 2.2GHz, didn't start, drew no current, found connection between power input inductor & first power FET broken(had resistance continuity but not voltage's). Wired the two points. Laptop works fine.


Tos Satellite 1410 PS141A-0502YP 13046599P, Battery problem, orange light, not charging, fixed charging circuit, battery charged OK but shutdown soon after turning on. Tested laptop with another battery fine. BATTERY'S FAULTY ALSO

Toshiba TE2100 S/N 601, green screen, found excessive solder on one connector socket, removed the solder, still green, traced fault to a open circuit inductor. Replaced the whole adapter board. Screen works fine, k/b no go, hdd no go.

Tos TE2100 62020861V unstable green screen, resoldered connector socket. Screen works fine. Laptops started up fine.


Compaq Evo N610c PP2040, CNU3420F34, 470059-170, turn on but not POST, found CPU running, dismantled laptop, reseat RAM, going & running WinPE from CD drive O.K.


Dell Latitude C800, 2DZY4lS, turn on a few seconds then off, traced fault to CPU power supply IC, no PGood, replaced the IC, starting & running win2k on HDD fine.


Toshiba Tecra9000, PT900A-01TZ7, X1013590J... beyond repair


Dell C610, tag: FJCC51S, password removal.


Dell Inspiron 6000, P4M 1.6G HGS2P71, short circuit w/o turning on, traced fault to cpu p/s irf7821, replaced & still won't start, shorted or went for a few seconds when power up, checked and replaced Max1999, later found another intermittant low-side power FET, works fine once replaced.


Thinkpad R31: Found system had no 5V & 3.3V supply, checked power IC MAX1631 looked normal but wouldn't work, tried another IC, same, added a bypass capacity to 1631's VL, 5V & 3.3V going. Laptop starts up fine.


Compaq N1020V, Laptop won't boot from harddrive but booting from CD fine, HDD not recognized by a desktop PC, put a good HDD into laptop, same. Dismantled laptop, traced fault to connection between mainboard & HDD PCB, fixed the connection, deleted HDD partition and redone partition, formatted with win98 DOS fine, checkdsk fine.


TravelMate 250: No power up, showing shorted circuit (8V, >5A), traced fault to MAX1999 section, replaced a shorted power FET, working fine, running over 5 hrs O.K.


Toshiba TE2100: no startup, worked on power module connectors, also LCD connector on graphic card. HDD noisy and laptop won't boot with HDD attached.


Packard Bell Ipower 5542: Repair LCD fault, checked fault caused by inverter, ordered inverter & replaced, screen works fine. Rebuild battery 11.1V 6600mAH 12 cells. Found laptop was not charging the battery, traced fault to battery controller IC 1772, replaced the IC, battery charged fine. (Note: two remaining faults, can not tighten bottom screws & CPU fan screws, bottom ones cause faulty keyboard, fan screws cause laptop to shutdown!!! PCB too thin/soft?)


PC Company Green 731: Could not start, AMI code 2D, suspect RAM fault, dismantled laptop to resolder RAM slots, fixed but same fault 3 days later, found pins still there, soldered again. Working for nearly a week fine.


Compaq Presario 2200, model 2252AP, celeron M, 18.5V 3.5A adapter, not power up loose power connector, dismantled lapotp found socket pin soldering fine, just the positive pin inside the socket loose, re-solder pin, power up fine.

TravelMate 210 Series 210 laptop TER00029055106412, found no LCD loose connection, just laptop not booting, coming up file's missing, checked harddrive fine, tried a known good HDD, still the same, memory test reported RAM fault, soldered slots, cleaned RAM connectors. Running XP overnight fine.


IBM Thinkpad T23 TYPE: 1S2647JA799BMWP8 small current when started, cpu no voltage, checked CPU power supply IC had no ON signal, put ON signal there, CPU power ok but still won't boot, traced fault to dry joint inductor next to North Bridge. Fixed.

IBM 600X 26454EA99RM480, could not boot from CD, file error 4. checked CD's fine on a second laptop, and connecton's fine, later disable onboard RAM and it works fine. Worked on another 600x with not seeing harddrive problem, connections OK so it's control circuit's fault.

Dell L400 Service Tag: FB8161S power meter show startup for a few seconds then stoped, check memory, was memory fault, worked with PC133 RAM. HDD passworded.


Apple iBook G4 Model A1055 24V 1.875A. Not starting with a power supply. Dismantled laptop to find no voltage inside, wired 24V supply after the DC socket and it started fine.

Compaq N1015VA153X430VC250, 470046-545, 1V2BKSBZX13N, blank screen, checked inverter cable as it's fixed last time, no fault found. Turned on laptop, didn't POST at all, drawing >4A current, checked CPU running, traced fault to one hot RAM, removed the RAM stick, current's back to normal, laptop running fine.

Toshiba 1410 PS141A-0502YP, 13046613P, battery no go, found battery faulty, good battery won't work all the time, found intermittant shorting pin, removed it, battery works fine.

Dell 17" widescreen Inspiron 9300 m/b HG58891, power on/off right away, current small, found power on when the graphic card is removed, later cleaned corroded connectors on graphic card, laptop works fine overnight.


Toshiba A70 PSA70A-0W700W, X4364296K, laptop overheat, traced fault to CPU & fan assy.


Toshiba Tecra 9100, worked on a few with sound issues, most of the laptops were worked on before, broken tracks on mainboard, beyond repair.


Dell 17" Wide screen, Inspiron 6400/E1505, DXJVHB1, power on then off, checked cpu power circuit, found a shorted capacitor, removed the capacitor, power stay on fine, smoke coming out when tested with the provided graphic card, graphic card's faulty, without the card it powers up fine and flashing orange indicating a low battery.

Toshiba, speaker problem, found volum knob faulty, replaced but the knob is not for this model. Removed knob, to be put on

Compaq M2000, model M2045AP, CNF501BWC, Lsass error with ‘Security Accounts manager Initialization fails’, repaired corrupted register files, XP running fine, check disk done, no fault found.


HP Compaq NX6120, CNU518*9H2, Freezes when using AC adapter, very slow, lot of dust in CPU heatsink, cleaned. Tested CPU, RAM fine... NOT FIXED in set time.


HP Pavilion ZV5000, PF119UA#ABA, CND4260BS3, 18.5V 6.5A, not power up, replaced fault power diode. Charging fine, running Win PE > 12 hrs fine.


HP Compaq nc6000, CNU4050F35,DP894A#ABU, 18.5V 3.5A, liquid damage, no power up, found no liquid appearance, power on intermittently, power board touching heatsink, once separated, turned on fine.


Toshiba Satellite M40, PSM43A-11000H, 85094718Q, 19V, 3.42A, no power on, short circuit, 2V, >5A, traced fault to two short circuit capacitors and a power fet, worked fine once replaced.


Latitude C640, DWM771S, would not turn on, short circuit (5V, >5A), repaired CPU power circuit fault, laptop going fine, CD & battery bays fine, ran Win PE fine > 12 hrs.


HP Pavilion DV1000, CNF507351V, not power up, found open PL1 in power circuit, replaced, supply voltage dropped to 3V, current >5A, found 2 short circuit capacitors, replaced, laptop running fine, can't charge battery as battery is faulty?


Thinkpad T40, 1S237375M99RD636, not power up from AC adapter, replaced open circuit component in power circuit, T40 running fine.


HP Compaq NC4000 18.5V 3.5A, CNU34204X0, no boot at all, small current, repaired CPU power circuit. Laptop running fine.


NX9040, CNF4441C79, won't power on, battery power ok, found Vmain = 11-18.5V fluctuation, caused by power input circuit control signal's 6V - 18.5V movement (6V normal), found a dry joint in a

transistor pin, soldered and Vmain=18.5 not changing. Laptop going, running overnight fine.

Toshiba M30X-124, Z4345206K, power on but not starting up, test card show CPU NOT RESET, CPU had no power, checked CPU power FETs fine, replaced CPU power supplier IC, work overnight fine.


Toshiba Satellite PSP26A-0J2R9, won't power on, found bubbled south bridge IC, faulty mainboard K000014040 caused by damaged USB sockets!!!


Dell Inspiron 510m tag 32FWF1S 19.5V 4.62A pa-10 or pa-12 adapter. Won't power up by and trip AC adapter, runnig off battery fine, found short circuit capacitor in AC power circuit, replace it and laptop fine.


IBM Thinkpad R31 2656-ABM, won't power up, bench power supply showed current went up to idle ~50ma and back to zero, Tested Max1631 pins 3.3V and 5V for <1 sec then back to 0V, replaced 1631, checked its Hi/Low FETs, fine. Found USB socket in the back was damaged, replaced the socket, laptop fine.


HP 1730 LCD 17" monitor, Dead monitor, buzzing noise, fixed faulty power supply.

HP NC8000 18.5V 3.5A, with NC6000 screen! power on but blank screen, CPU started up, traced to faulty RAM, works once the RAM is removed. dismantled and cleaned, CPU fan and heatsink full of dust...


Compaq Presario V2000, LCD dims, no backlight, checked tube with external inverter, it turned on but got a electric shock when touching the panel, the panel's own inverter good but won't drive the tube. Repaired backlight, no shock, but panel only worked for 30min then no more backlight... had to replace the panel.


Toshiba Satellite A70 19V 6.3A overheating, dismantled laptop and cleaned CPU fan and heatsink, was full of dust, reapplied paste to CPU and heatsink, laptop worked but only off battery power, found loose DC socket, fixed.

HP Pavillion DV1000, PV253PA#ABG, CNF51406R5, 18.5V 3.5A, LEDs flashed then shut down, meter showed big current, traced fault to CPU circuit, replaced a power FET, laptop works fine > 4 hrs, charging battery fine.


Dell Inspiron 2200 tag 43b3g1s 19V 3.16A, DC socket loose? couldn't make contact, replaced the socket, still no contact, checked plug voltage fine but replaced the plug anyway. AC working fine.


Acer TM4060,p/n TM.40121.870SE, s/n 54401920broken DC jack, ordered and replaced the part, tested laptop working/charging OK.


NX7400, 18.5V 3.5A bigplug, CNU6360YQ0, not starting up, no current. Dismantled laptop, found burnt power FET, replaced the FET, still no go, input DC dropped to ~1V, traced fault to shorted circuit capacitor, replaced the capacitor, laptop works fine. Running > 2 hrs.


Inspiron 510m B2RBC1S, 19.5V 3.34A PA-12, not turning on, power button had no voltage, one pin didn't connect to GND on mainboard, soldered connector pins on mainboard, 5V appears on button pins, turning on fine. Going thru a few heat/cold cycles fine.


HP DV1000, CNF5052POY, not starting, power input short circuit. Traced fault to shorted PQ44 and PC55, laptop starts fine after their replacement. Cleared off lot of dust inside, keyboard has lot of dust/hair, impossible to clean. Checked battery/AC adapter fine.


Satellite A60, PSA63A-002001, Y4100818Q, power on and shutdown right away, was told its Bios stuffed. Removed bios chip, found bios from Toshiba website, reprogrammed, works fine with new code. HDD's faulty, won't boot once putting it in. Booted to WinPE on CD fine. (14/12/07)


Satellite M40 PSM40A-06X008, 45059873Q, 15V 5A, not turning on, no response at all when pushed the power button, found dry joint on power IC ISL6227, works fine once soldered.


NX6120, HSTNN-105C, CNU509FLHG, 18.5V 3.5A, not starting, AC adapter had no output, used test adapter, same, bench supply showed short circuit input, traced fault to C57 faulty capacitor, replaced the 18.5V capacitor, laptop started fine, ac adapter recovered also working fine.


TE2100, PTA210A-006P9 92016687V, 15V 5A, flashing orange light when pushing power button, common power board connection problem, resoldered connector, laptop works fine.

HP LCD Monitor L1706 backlight on a second then turn off, top red backlight intermittent connection, LCD panel: AU Optronics M170EG01 AU17006ACATCASZ265P25JH, MM6507542453ZS100, replaced tubes on top end with 348mm ones, monitor works fine.

Dell D630, MN365 A01, Graphic scrambled, reheated BGA graphic chip and it's two RAM chips, 255c peak 70s, 40mm head. fixed


Toshiba Tecra S1, PT831A-67CT2, Fuzzy screen, BGA rework done on Graphic chip and 2 graphic memory chips, working fine.


Dell XPS M1330, PP25L, No POST, screen backlight on, reheated BGA graphic chip, 255c peak 70s, 40mm head. not fixed, replaced with new GPU chip, old one hard to remove, top pk 290c 100s, solder tp 270c 100s, still LCD grey, but POST and output to VGA fine. faulty panel?


HP Presario DV9000, graphic went haywire soon after loading UBCD4win and doing chkdsk, removed red glue around GPU, BGA reflow done on GPU, laptop working fine. 270, 270 100s.


HP nw8240, DX449AV s/n 0DCX, showed "please insert smart card" after booting to big logo, but ok when the FW82801FBM SL7W6 was pushed and power on. BGA reflow done on the chip, and it's booting and xp shutdown fine.


HP V3000, RD544PA#ABG s/n 0MTK, not starting, current 0.70-0.80A, BGA reflow done on Graphic chip, working fine, start up and stay at 1.3A, running UBCD4win overnight fine.


HP V3000, RU935PA#ABG 26VL, not starting, current ramdon, sometime 2.05, 1.2, 1.4 even 2.85A, checked it's not the RAM, BGA reflow done on Graphic chip, working fine, start up and stay at 1.79A, Bios shows it's a DV2000 motherboard, x123xx#ABA, Turion 64x2, turning on overnight fine running UBCD4win, but Q button's LED on top of the kb on all the time.


HP tx1000, RU875PA#ABG, Not starting, current 1.2 -1.3A, BGA reflow done on Graphic chip, working fine, start up and stay at 1.55A, go6150, cleaned CPU heatsink/fan, reapplied heat paste.


Dell Precision M90, GK79L1S, scrambled graphic, Graphic chip QDFX-1500M-HN-A2, BGA reflow done on the daughter board,fixed.


IBM Thinkpad T42, 2681CFM, didn't complete POST, will POST if graphic chip is pressed and power on, BGA reflow done on graphic chip, fixed.

Dell Inspiron 5150, *VBJG41, AC can't power on, two outer LEDs flashing, ok from battery, found FDS6679 burnt, replaced with AO4413. Done.


 Dell XPS M1330, *4BMR1S, No POST, screen backlight on, a bit of white light, external monitor showing very hard to read scrammbled graphic, reheated BGA graphic chip. fixed. GPU Nvidia G86-630-A2.

Dell Latitude D505, *9LHC1S, Shorting DC input circuit when tested, battery starting ok, traced fault to capacitor PC13, replaced and working, charging fine, cleaned CPU heatsink/fan also, fixed.


 Acer Aspire 1640, LXA86053805350CC71, DC socket broken, replaced with small pin wide socket, won't post with one DSE ram inside, replaced with a 512Mb one working fine.

Asus A6000, A6000km 64N0AG035***, showing pink lines after a while, notepad windows all pink. reseated LCD connector on mainboard, put contact enhancer. Cleaned CPU fan/heatsink. Tested fine. Bios upgraded from 209 to 300.


Acer TravelMate 4050, LK15006005504079, LCD backlight on for a very short time, check inverter driving a good tube fine, replaced the backlight CCFL tube, going fine, defrag done on hdd. Done.


Dell Inspiron 6400, *YSGF1S, Loose DC socket, replaced socket with hex shape new one. Internal CPU heatsink wasn't tighten at all, working fine once tighten.


Compaq Nx7010, PQ803PA#ABG, Laptop power on to 0.55A, no POST, test card's Reset LED stuck on, tested 1.8Ghz CPU & socket ok, soldered adp3205 pins, laptop starting fine every time, ~1A, running whole day fine.


Presario V2000 Screen, EL088PA#ABG, V2418AU, screen won't turn on at all, tested CCFL tube one side dark, inverter output fine with a good screen, replaced backlight tube, lcd working fine.


Presario DV2000 Graphic, RN073EA#ABB, DV2197ea, current to 0.95 - 0.88 A, then gone up to 1.3A, no POST, 3 beeps, BGA reflow done on GPU, working, 0.88 - 1.33A, booting fine. Cleaned CPU fan/heatsink, lubricated fan bearing, replaced GPU heatsink's spacer with metal plate 0.7mm. Running Win 7 & 3Dmark03 > 5 hours fine. 3dmark03 2170. GPU GF-GO7200-N-A3

Missing fan in CPU heatsink assy, BGA reflow done on go7200 graphic chip, laptop starting, ordered CPU fan Forcecon DFS450805MI0T, laptop working fine once fan replaced and laptop put back together. Running UBCD4win > 3 hrs fine.

Returned one month later, found heatsink screw next to the GPU loose, replaced the stripped nut on mainboard, reheated GPU and tighten the heatsink screws, fixed.


EH027PA#ABG, DV1354AP, not starting, current jump to 0.3A then 0.00, found max1999 3V circuit PQ142 AO4914 has a burnt mark, removed PQ142 and checked following circuit ok. Replaced the AO4914, laptop working fine.


RU899PA#AB2, DV2207TX, 3 beeps, was repaired elsewhere before, can't be fixed by BGA reflow, did reball and reinstall GPU go7200, working fine, fan wired to on with 2 diode to 5V. GPU heatsink spacer replaced with metal plate 0.7mm.


Asus F3T F3TC-AP012C-A, 74N0AS1817** not starting, current to 2A, found north bridge overheat, replaced n/b NF-G6100-N-A2, laptop starting fine.
